Well I have finally built my first real pottery studio with the help of a very good friend of mine Dan Q. (actually I was the helper here). Below is a mostly chronological array of pictures from the project. I a will slowly be editing these pages and filling in details of the pictures. There are lots of pictures here and it may take a while to download them all. I will be thinning the herd soon so it will speed up eventually. For now enjoy...........

This is week 1 and 2 of work.

Laying out the foundation.

Footers are dug and steel is in.

Got the plastic and steel down. End of day 1.

Concrete is poured and floated and done. It was exactly 10 yards. End of day 2.

The walls went up fast.

The walls are done. End of day 3.

Week 3 and 4

Some of the framing.

The outer skin goes on.

I insulated it pretty well.

Then came drywall.

The beginnings of the kiln area.

Almost ready to paint.

Rear view.

Here is a little from how I moved in and finally set it up.

The bare walls.

My extra tall counter goes in.

At first, I put in some old shelving. It's gone now.

A couple of ware carts now, but they are not alone.

Clutter and mess.
